Two of our OARCA board members are sailing their way to Alaska. They left at noon today (June 8, 2023) for Ketchikan, Alaska. They have rowed, kayaked (twice!) and sailed this race before. Seems racing to Alaska is their favourite way of spending the month of June! You can follow their progress on the Race to Alaska tracker site at https://r2ak2023.maprogress.com/ They are sailing as Team Madame Oaracle and the Prairie Porch Pirates. Two of the other crew members are rowers from Calgary so they are in good company.
