There are at least five (5) teams rowing to Alaska this year. The diversity of their boats is quite amazing and just goes to show that one need not be restricted to any particular kind of rowing shell to get out and have fun – or go crazy and race to Alaska! Have a look at some of the boats at https://oarca.org/row-to-alaska/
